Judith and Tineke Steenbrink from Holland Baroque have taken Bach's suggestion literally and have partly let Die Kunst der Fuge be sung by the internationally acclaimed Voces Suaves. Musis has the privilege of owning a beautiful Kam and van der Meulen organ from 1842. This two-manual organ was built as a salon organ and was later fitted with a pipe façade. Since 1931, the organ has been housed in the dome of Museum Arnhem, where it was damaged during World War II. In 1968, it was restored by the Leeflang company. Thanks to the initiative of city organist Johan Luijmes, it now has its place in the balcony hall at Musis. Would you like to hear and experience how this magnificent organ sounds?
