Early Music Concerts

About the project

Live music should be easy to find

Historical-instrument and chamber ensembles are usually smaller and quieter than a symphony orchestra, and rarely have a concert hall’s PR team, grant writer, or fixed season residency behind them. Their concerts still happen: this calendar exists to make them easy to find.

Early Music Concerts gathers listings from venues, ensembles, and festivals into one calendar, in eight languages, with streaming links for the performers, composers, and works on each programme. Listings come from venues’ own calendars and from direct submissions. Every entry links to the presenting organisation’s own ticket page: we don’t sell tickets or take a cut. Coverage currently spans the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, and grows from there.

Early Music Concerts is published by Stichting Tijdloze Klavieren, a Dutch non-profit foundation whose purpose is to support music.

Partnerships

We work with cultural organisations, venues, festivals, ensembles, researchers, and public-interest projects: adding listings, expanding into a new region, or building research on the calendar’s data. If any of that fits what you’re doing, tell us about it below.
